Since 1992, I have practiced law in the states of Florida, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. After years of working with national law firms, I decided to open my own boutique law firm with offices in Sarasota, FL, and Lakewood Ranch, FL. This enables me to provide my legal expertise to my clients at more affordable rates.
From 1998 through 2019, I served as a Supply Corps Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve. I am a combat veteran who has served tours of duty in Afghanistan, Djibouti, Kuwait, and Norfolk, VA.
I currently volunteer my time in support of the Brian Bill Foundation, Sarasota Family Court Veterans Pro Bono Initiative, the Sigma Chi alumni chapter for Sarasota/Manatee County, and as a student interviewer for the Tulane Office of Undergraduate Admission.
In 2020, I was awarded the Rhode Island Bar Journal Outstanding Contributions Award. I have previously received the National Award of Merit from the Association of the United States Navy, a Pro-Bono Award from the Collier County Bar Association for legal services provided to Florida veterans, was a contributor on tax issues to the Congressional Committee on the National Guard, and Reserves, the Clayton B. Burton Award of Excellence from the Florida Bar Military Affairs Committee for the “Demonstration of Character and Leadership in Promoting Legal Services to Military Personnel Serving in Florida,” and the Naval Reserve Association Literary Award.
